The Challenge

Green spaces are good for our planet and good for us, but there is currently almost no connection between green spaces and gray cities. The change must come from a city’s inhabitants – they will be those who plant trees and bring about a greener urban environment.
VeNatata works to develop and cultivate ecological forests in cities and villages, with the aim of contributing to the balance of local ecosystems, strengthening the social and geographical periphery and bringing communities together.
VeNatata’s challenges:
Increased involvement of activists in the organization
Increased number of recurring donations to expand and leverage activities

The Solution

An app for registering and managing the community of “forest-city citizens.” The app makes it easy to find and join various types of nearby activities, from tree-planting sessions and seed and cutting exchanges to establishing therapeutic gardens. Users can search for activities either by proximity or by issues that interest them, and the app will display their options on a map or list.
Each activity has a page with additional details and registration. Activists can also use the app to establish and run activities, thereby expanding VeNatata’s impact.
